For years, nutrition experts have said that a healthy breakfast is a key to start to the day. Eating breakfast helps us to perform better on our work or job, there are so many reasons and benefits to our health why we should not miss or skip your breakfast.
So many people skip breakfast due to some reasons well known to them, like, ” am not hungry”, ” am not fasting”, am watching my weight “, what ever reason you have right now I think you should start reconsidering to eat your breakfast because it is Healthier for you. When you are doing all of these or making excuses for your self you are causing problems to your health which might lead to a bigger one.
BREAKFAST IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEART. Different studies have shown that between breakfast and heart has a relationship. In 2017, the journal of the American College of Cardiology reported that people who skip breakfast are more likely to have atherosclerosis. That’s why when your arteries narrow and harden because of the build up of plaque. This can lead to heart attach and stroke. Breakfast skippers have a higher risk of heart disease, studies also shows that they were more likely to smoke,drink more alcohol and less exercise, that’s unhealthy habits that can lead to heart problems.
IT HELPS TO CONTROL BLOOD SUGAR. Eating breakfast helps you to control blood sugar throughout the day whether you have diabetes or not. For people with normal glucose test results,this might help you avoid insulin resistance, which can lead to diabetes, drops and spikes in your blood sugar can also affect your mind, making you more nervous, grumpy or angry.
IT HELPS YOU TO KEEP A HEALTHY WEIGHT AS WELL.
EATING BREAKFAST HELPS YOU TO DO BETTER AT YOUR WORK OR ANYWHERE ELSE. Regular eating a healthy breakfast helps us pay attention remember and perform better, going without breakfast makes your body to go into conservation mode, that’s when your brain slows everything down, why? Because you don’t have enough energy.
IT HELPS YOU TO FUEL AND RUN YOUR BODY FOR THE DAY. The carbs that you eat gives your body energy to get started and your brain the fuel it needs to take for the day, protein gives you staying power and helps you to feel full until your next meal.
